For Canadians who wish to get married in the Philippines (if either or both contracting parties are citizens of a foreign country), it shall be necessary for them to submit a certificate of legal capacity to contract marriage issued by their respective diplomatic or consular officials to the local civil registry office (LCRO) of the city or municipality where they will get married before a marriage license can be issued by the LCRO. The certificate may be obtained through the Canadian Embassy in Manila.
