The Consulate urges Filipinos to stay vigilant and to perform due diligence on these job offers in Canada to determine if they adhere to Philippine government procedures on working abroad. These procedures are provided by the Philippine Overseas Employment Agency (POEA) and all prospective Filipino overseas workers are strongly advised to contact POEA or the Philippine Overseas Labor Offices (POLO) in their respective areas to verify the legitimacy of these work opportunities.
