FILIPINO NURSE ELECTED TO THE COUNCIL OF THE COLLEGE OF NURSES OF ONTARIO

The Consulate General of the Philippines in Toronto congratulates Filipino nurse Rodolfo D. Lastimosa Jr., RPN on his election to the Council of the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO), representing the Central Toronto District.Mr. Lastimosa’s election to the Council, the CNO body that establishes the goals, objectives and policies of the College according to the governing legislation, is a major milestone for the Filipino nursing community in Canada. Mr. Lastimosa’s election success was based of his extensive nursing career, which included his election as the Chair of Nursing Students of Ontario, his platforms on patient safety and CNO branding, and his commitment to working corraboratively within the nursing profession to contribute our shared goals of safe, quality patient care.
