17 October 2024 – Consul General Angelica C. Escalona welcomed Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry François-Philippe Champagne and Member of Parliament (MP) Marco Mendicino at the Philippine Consulate General in Toronto. Recalling major milestones in the bilateral relations and lauding the positive contributions of the Filipino diaspora, they discussed opportunities for further cooperation in various areas including credentials recognition, energy security, and science, technology and innovation.
