CONSUL GENERAL ANGELICA ESCALONA OPENS
PALETA 35 EXHIBIT OF THE PHILIPPINE ARTISTS GROUP
24 June 2023 – Consul General Angelica C. Escalona joined MP Rechie Valdez and City of Toronto Medical Officer of Health Dr. Eileen de Villa in opening PALETA 35, the annual art exhibition of the Philippine Artists Group (PAG). The Consul General congratulated the PAG on its 35th anniversary and noted the importance art plays in preserving Filipino heritage and expressing the stories of Filipino-Canadians.
